The Digital Experience & Products team is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team leading digital innovation at American Express. We are responsible for deepening Client and Card Member engagement through our digital B2B products. The team's mission is to dramatically increase adoption and frequency of usage through a combination of in-depth insights, superior user experience and compelling features and functionality.We are seeking a versatile and experienced Product Manager or Product Owner to join our dynamic team! The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating digital technologies to enable seamless and intuitive corporate product experiences. The individual in this role will drive the product vision and strategic plans to launch digital features as part of the Corporate Program Product Development (CPPD) team. One of the key projects this individual will focus on is Project Flamingo, which is an initiative led by the International Card Services (ICS) group to discontinue issuing local currency corporate products in certain European markets and replace it with a Euro-denominated product for certain client segments, in an effort to streamline card operations across Europe.Extraordinary candidates will be able to quickly understand business processes, create flows, design and deliver valuable features for customers by working with partners and other product managers.How will you make an impact in this role?Define and execute the product strategy, and roadmap for digital experiences within our corporate product portfolioWork in an agile environment with the skills to break down sophisticated requirements into right sized features consumable by an agile scrum teamDrive the development of user-stories, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate product requirements and user flows effectivelyCollaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams, to prioritize features and ensure alignment with business goalsEfficiently lead projects independently including, but not limited to, building consensus while also identifying risks and removing roadblocksCollaborate with external and internal partners to define functionality, document capabilities, business rules, use cases, and process flowsOwn recurring status reporting activities for a leadership and senior leadership audienceStay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and standard practices to continuously innovate and improve our product offeringsCritical Factors to Success:Passion for creating compelling high-impact strategy to increase customer and business valueHighly organized - familiarity with project management techniques, frameworks, and toolsThrives in a fast-paced, agile, and results-driven organizationA "driver" personality - constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery while balancing the need for excellent collaborationExcellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and encourage partners to drive collaboration and alignmentTechnical proficiency – ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with technology and business teamsAgile Product Development proficiency – ability to prioritize and translate clients' and business needs into features and user-storiesMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree4+ years of related experience in Product Development or Product ManagementProven track record of delivering digital products from concept to launchSolid understanding of user-centered design principles and agile methodologiesExcellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skillsExperience working with corporate clients and Enterprise software solutionsProven success in creating structure despite ambiguous environmentsHigh attention to detail with an eye for accuracy and controlsStrong results-orientation, resourcefulness, and flexibility to overcome significant obstacles to achieve goals in a fast-paced environmentQuick learner and great team playerAbility to thrive in undefined, complex project spacesPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of corporate products in European markets is a plusSalary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
