Role Overview:
As a Data Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving insights and innovation through data analysis and operational management. You'll lead a talented team, leveraging cutting-edge methodologies and technologies to consolidate, analyze, and interpret diverse datasets. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations, managing resources effectively, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily operational activities, including the development and implementation of tactical plans.
Oversee project teams and manage implementations, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
Design, develop, and implement methods and systems to analyze structured and unstructured data.
Serve as a subject matter advisor and handle escalations to meet schedules and resolve complex issues.
Proactively manage issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop software programs, algorithms, and dashboards to clean, model, and integrate datasets.
Stay updated on emerging analytic methodologies and technologies.
Collaborate with business units to drive solutions and direction.
Establish credibility with stakeholders and manage expectations effectively.
Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and continuous improvement within the team.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in quantitative or computational functions; or graduate degree in a relevant discipline and at least 2 years of experience.
Proficiency in analytics and statistical software such as SQL, R, Python, etc.
Deep understanding of SQL and open-source data science packages.
Experience in building and maintaining key relationships within a matrix organization.
Previous involvement in financial decision-making and leadership roles.
Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate degree in a relevant discipline.
Experience interacting at the executive level and leading cross-functional teams.
