What you'll doBecome part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:Oversee the design and development of energy storage systems for Scout pickup trucks and SUVs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company specifications.Provide technical expertise in energy storage pack designs including cells, modules, electronics and performance.Develop and execute rigorous testing and validation protocols to verify the performance and reliability of high voltage battery systems.Ensure that all energy storage systems meet or exceed relevant industry standards, certifications, and safety regulations.Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to select and manage suppliers for energy storage components, ensuring manufacturing capability, quality, and reliability.Manage and mentor a team of engineers responsible for energy storage system components and pack assemblies.Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Novi, MI.
