The team's work is at the heart of a diverse range of marketing functions ranging from card and non-card acquisition, loyalty, engagement, retention to customer personalization through critical enterprise capabilities.The Manager Assistant position supports the VP, Consumer & Merchant Marketing and Enterprise Personalization Decision Science team within the Credit and Fraud Risk organization. Successful candidate will be an integral member of the leadership team. Key Responsibilities:Working with the functional leaders to align organizational priorities, drive cross-functional strategic initiatives, and ensure delivery against goalsDeveloping communications and presentation materials for executive-level audiencesPlanning line-of-business reviews, staff meetings, employee town hallsPartnering with CEG to implement talent management programs – recruitment, training and development, employee recognition, compensation, and retentionInteracting effectively with employees at all levels in the organization to strengthen team culture, continuously improve the work environment, and identify and resolve issuesDirecting department-wide administrative functions, including operating expense managementQualifications:Strong analytical acumen, problem solving, project management skills with demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneouslySuperior organization skills and scrupulous attention to detailExceptional professional communication skills – clear, logical, and structuredBusiness maturity and demonstrated ability to influence at all levelsAdaptable interpersonal skills, high energy, and a proven team-first mentalitySound judgment, strong situational leadership, and strategic thinkingImpeccable integrity required for handling confidential informationExperience in credit risk managementEmployment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
