The Position
Management Analysts conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others.
Under the direction of the Administrative Services Officer 2, the Management Analyst 2 will manage the inventory, fleet services, travel, and contracts. Responsibilities include monitoring contracts, including entry into CETS, performing advanced level data analysis, create and maintain procedures within the fiscal unit, provide training and supervision to fiscal staff, serve as a liaison between other state agencies and department divisions, and conducting analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis. To see full Class Specifications visit: To Qualify In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements: Qualifications Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications) Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and two years of professional experience in the research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods or procedures; OR graduation from high school or equivalent education and four years of professional experience as described above; OR one year of experience as a Management Analyst I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above. Special Requirements This position requires a valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment. This position requires a State of Nevada/FBI fingerprint-based background check as a condition of appointment and as condition of continuing employment. The Examination Application Evaluation Exam The exam will consist of an application evaluation.
