Maitre D

Girl and the Goat is seeking a full-time Maitre D to work the host stand and door. High volume restaurant experience and open table experience are a must. The right candidate is someone who is a leader, flexible, maintains composure, can easily multi-task, and is hospitable and accommodating.
Responsibilities: Peak Service piloting
Operate 3-5 shifts  Maximize seating potential Coaching  Manage OpenTable books
Review OpenTable slot books and help build daily books Proactive outreach
Daily/weekly emails to management teams about upcoming reservations of note Manage Goat Hops, Progressive Dinners, special events from Corporate Office Follow up calls/emails to build guest relations
Main focus on large parties and high profile guests Shift Supervisor resposibilities to be layered in after training period
