Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Mechanical & Electrical)  
Location: Waukesha, WI  
Type: 2nd Shift, Full Time, Direct Hire  
Pay: $33.50/hour   Job Summary:  
In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting production operations by ensuring the efficient repair, maintenance, and enhancement of all production and service equipment, along with building utilities. Your responsibilities will include specialized maintenance in areas such as electronics, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems. Proficiency in fabrication, welding, and operating machine shop equipment is essential. You must be adept at performing machine maintenance independently and improving equipment reliability through retrofitting and enhancements. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive work assignments and necessary data from supervisors, including drawings, schematics, or sketches.
- Set up and operate common machine shop equipment and use precision measuring instruments.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment, covering various machinery and utilities.
- Resolve technical issues in specialized maintenance areas like electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Fabricate weldments using different welding equipment and execute machinery rigging and installation.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety in the work area, handle hazardous materials appropriately, and operate associated equipment safely.
- Utilize email, conduct internet searches, and proficiently perform data entry tasks. Knowledge Needed:
- Proficiency in operating a full range of machine shop equipment and maintenance tools.
- Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, dismantle, or repair equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Capability to fabricate, weld, and work at varying heights and conditions, including outdoors in extreme weather.
- Capacity to lift weights within safety guidelines, with mechanical aids provided for heavier loads.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Windows-based computers, PLCs, and variable frequency drives (for Electrical role). Education and Experience:  
- Technical Diploma in Industrial Maintenance with 3-5 years of related industrial maintenance experience, or
- 5 or more years of related industrial maintenance experience with some formal technical education. Electrical:  
- Technical Diploma in Electronics or Electro Mechanical Technology with 1-3 years of industrial electrical experience, or
- Completion of a 4-year Electrical Apprenticeship with 0-2 years of industrial electrical experience, or
- 5 or more years of industrial electrical experience with some formal technical education.
The successful candidate will consistently demonstrate exemplary performance and meet departmental standards on a daily basis. Pay Details: $33.50 per hour
