Job summary
UniFirst is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to join our teamHandle repairs, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of industrial equipmentMonday - Friday work week with periodic night and weekend overtime

Responsibilities
• Utilize hand/power tools, precision measurement tools, and electronic testing devices• Ensure safe operation of machinery, systems, and components• Follow blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications• Troubleshoot equipment problems and make necessary adjustments• Perform boiler chemical and wastewater pre-treatment system testing• Perform safety checks on boilers and location/system• Inspect and perform maintenance actions on equipment parts• Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System• Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
• High school and/or GED preferred• Two-year technical degree preferred• Must be at least 21 years of age• Valid driver's license and safe driving record• Minimum of 6 months' work experience repairing industrial processing equipment• Ability to read blueprints and schematics• Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills• Lockout/Tagout experience• Ability to work overtime as needed• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
