PURPOSE: Performs preventative maintenance of all production and service equipment and building. Works with production units to maintain and improve plant efficiency, productivity and product quality.
Troubleshoot machines and mechanical/electrical equipment to diagnose source of problem. Perform repairs and upgraded with hand tools and/or power tools using safe work practices. Replace broken or defective parts. Perform calibrations on equipment according to written procedure. Document maintenance activities and equipment repairs. Conducts housekeeping activities in work area. Perform other tasks as needed. HS diploma or GED Positive attitude & good work ethic Must be able to work in team environment Must be able to work 12-hr rotating shift schedule (day & night shift) Must be able to work required OT on short notice Lockout/Tagout and safety knowledge/training required. Multi-skilled/cross-trained in electrical/mechanical/hydraulic & pneumatic required. Working knowledge of PLC systems and Drives preferred.
