Maintenance Technician Position Overview:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently and in a safe manner, including plumbing, electrical, sprinkler, HVAC, life safety systems, fire protection, and commercial building maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair building systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical and sprinkler systems.
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary.
Inspect systems on a regular basis.
Respond to repair requests in a timely fashion.
Order necessary parts for repairs.
Maintain detailed records of repairs.
Adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, sprinkler, HVAC, life safety systems and fire protection.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
