If you're a hardworking, detail-oriented, and customer-focused professional, we want you to join us!Job DescriptionService/Maintenance Technicians make our apartment communities a great place to live; in return, we offer all of our service/maintenance techs the opportunity to live onsite with a 50% Rent Discount at any AIR Community!!Provide exemplary service to residents and team membersWith limited direction, perform routine maintenance and repairs (ie, completion of basic apartment turn, troubleshoots and repairs plumbing leaks, installs and replaces sinks, faucets, and toilets, troubleshoots and replaces basic electrical components, etc.)Provide functional/technical direction and training to lower level Service Technicians and supports the development of technical skillsMay assist with managing vendor qualityQualificationsAt least 1- 3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in some form of facilities or building environmentProficient skills in all trades OR expert level in at least two trades (plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)As an AIR Service Technician you must have:A reliable mode of transportationAbility to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month)Comfort with physical activity as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machineryAbility to read, write, and speak EnglishThe most successful AIR Service Technicians are:Tech savvyStrong with mechanical aptitudeCustomer service orientedHighly organizedGreat trouble-shootersAdvocates for teamworkExperts on attention to detailAdditional InformationAIR offers attractive compensation packages that reward performance at the individual, team, and company levels.
