Compensation : $ 75,000-$115,000 + PAID Relocation to Greenville, NC Join our client's team in Greenville, NC as Maintenance Supervisor where you'll orchestrate and guide the daily operations of a skilled team including millwrights, electricians, and mechanics. Your primary focus will be on championing safety, quality, and reliability in maintenance practices. You'll be at the helm of team meetings and training sessions, pinpointing and addressing safety, environmental, quality, and production concerns, and liaising with production teams to optimize efficiency and cut costs. Your role will also involve streamlining processes to minimize waste and preemptively tackling reliability issues. Additionally, you'll foster a supportive team environment, resolve personnel matters, and ensure strict adherence to site policies and procedures.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with the team to proactively identify safety hazards and implement corrective actions Supervise maintenance operations to ensure they are conducted safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards Implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies to minimize unplanned downtime Troubleshoot issues promptly to meet production targets and maintain quality standards Develop training programs to enhance the team's technical proficiency Utilize computerized systems for prioritizing maintenance tasks, managing inventory, and delegating resources effectively Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of 3 years' experience in a maintenance supervisory role within an industrial setting Proven track record of leadership, accountability, and meeting departmental metrics Strong understanding of safety protocols and experience in ensuring compliance Proficiency in hydraulics, air systems, mechanical drives, installations, troubleshooting, welding, and basic industrial electrical work Expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies Ability to identify root causes of problems and implement corrective actions Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Demonstrated ability to coach and develop team members to enhance performance Exceptional planning and organizational abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software - Track record of achieving and sustaining business objectives - Familiarity with maintenance planning software such as SAP
