Maintenance Supervisor Job Description Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our facility in Princeton, MN, 55371. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics, machine safety inspections, and experience in a manufacturing environment.
JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Supervisor provides supervision, coordination, and support for the activities of preventative equipment maintenance on production machinery, building, and grounds.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Ensure compliance of the maintenance department to company guidelines. Perform OSHA required inspections and assist with safety committee maintenance fixes Preventative maintenance of equipment Maintenance support for production Plant and facility security, upkeep, and outside vendor liaison Manage the R&M budget for facilities and equipment Assist/support the Operations Manager with tasks as necessary. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent with post-secondary education in maintenance preferred. 3-5 years of progressive experience in maintenance positions in Manufacturing Knowledge of electrical wiring systems, repair work, installations, construction works, plumbing, dry walling, flooring, etc. Strong computer skills. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and recordkeeping. OSHA 10 Certification PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently Excellent hand/eye coordination Good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina Ability to consistently wear personal protective equipment Standing, walking, and bending consistently Periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer Demonstrated ability to effectively use power tools WHAT MAKES US GREAT
