Responsibilities
• Lead and direct plant maintenance department• Eliminate causes of failure and ensure full useful life of equipment• Coordinate with daily maintenance completed by operating personnel• Schedule maintenance, repair, and installation to ensure continuous production operations• Create and manage budgets for maintenance and storeroom• Inspect equipment and operating machines for conformance with standards• Review production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics• Supervise up to 10 people at a time• Flexible availability to help out on weekends and off shifts
Requirements
• HS Diploma required, further education a plus• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance in a food plant• Understanding of PLCs and logic controls for high-speed equipment• Computer literacy with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, and CAD• Project management and facilities administration experience• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization• Excellent written and verbal skills• Time management and project scheduling skills• Proven track record of managing construction of complex projects• Ability to lead teams and achieve results• Thorough knowledge of construction processes, standards, trade practices, building codes and regulations• Excellent administrative and follow up skills• SAP knowledge is a plus
