Job Description and Duties MAINTENANCE MECHANIC – SANTA CRUZ DISTRICT / HENRY COWELLREDWOODS STATE PARK This position is subject to the Post and Bid process. Applicationsfrom a certification list, transfer change in class, reinstatement,re-employment, and training and development assignment candidates will beaccepted for this position but consistent with the MOU/Bargaining AgreementBU12/13 contract cannot be acted upon unless the Post & Bid process doesnot result in a hire. This recruitment may be used to fill identical vacancieswhich may occur within 180 days of the Final Filing Date of this job posting. The reportinglocation for this position is the Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park TechServices Office. This position works under the direction of the ParkMaintenance Supervisor.
This positionwill be responsible for but not limited to projects pertaining to Water and Wastewateroperation. This position must be highly skilled in electrical, have anunderstanding of pumps, and be able to develop and maintain a preventativemaintenance program for all equipment in the water and wastewater systems.
This positionrequires a T2 Water Certificate. Please provide proof of eligibility withapplication.
This positionrequired possession of a California Class "C" Driver's License. Please provideproof of eligibility with application.
Work schedulewill be Tuesday-Saturday, 7:00am - 3:30pm.
Statehousing may be required.
