Responsibilities
• Assist supervisor in using operational systems• Ensure equipment, forklifts, and vehicles operate optimally• Perform preventive maintenance on shop equipment• Assist in mechanical repairs on production machines• Complete paperwork accurately• Display professional attitude and respect working relationships• Ensure facility defects are reported and equipment is safe• Comply with safety rules and procedures• Maintain cleanliness and organization• Perform miscellaneous tasks as instructed
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED• 2+ years experience in metal processing industry and metal fabrication equipment• 3+ years experience in light and heavy-duty vehicle maintenance• Basic knowledge of latest model gas and diesel engines• Computer skills and ability to communicate well with others• Continuous education to stay updated with industry changes• Own necessary tools• Ability to operate industrial equipment like forklifts• Ability to follow safe operating procedures• Valid driver's license• Positive attitude, good work ethic, and team player• Physical requirements include bending, lifting, and standing• Occasional work outside in various weather conditions• Flexibility to work overtime when necessary
