Maintenance Manager Position Overview:
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the oversight and coordination of the upkeep and maintenance of all building and equipment. The Maintenance Manager will manage and direct the maintenance staff and coordinate with other departments to ensure that all maintenance and repair work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Assign and direct all general maintenance, electrical, mechanical work in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all building systems.
Maintain and repair all building equipment, such as doors, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic controls.
Maintain and document all preventative maintenance activities.
Monitor and manage spare parts inventory.
Perform and/or supervise all necessary repairs, maintenance, and installation of equipment.
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferred).
5+ years of experience in maintenance or related field.
Strong knowledge of garage door installation and maintenance.
Demonstrate mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Proficiency with Autocad.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
Experience with pneumatic controls.
