Responsibilities
• Provide strategic leadership on maintenance operations• Develop and implement maintenance strategy• Create Maintenance Department safety goals• Create effective Plant Maintenance Program• Supervise and inspect maintenance work• Manage and analyze maintenance department KPIs• Monitor and communicate departmental performance• Provide guidance in development of maintenance business plan• Lead maintenance staff to exceed industry standards• Serve as a member of the Plant Leadership Team• Negotiate with Labor Union representatives• Ensure safe work environment and adherence to policies• Foster culture of care for safety and maintenance reliability• Ensure maintenance staff is adequately trained and motivated• Lead and motivate a team to achieve performance excellence• Use problem-solving skills to make optimal decisions
Requirements
• Preferred 2-year technical degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering - Preferred• 10+ years of experience in industrial maintenance with 5+ years in maintenance management• Box manufacturing arena experience• Proficient with various software packages such as Microsoft Office - Excel, Outlook, JDE, PLC / DCS or similar CMMS• Candidate must have experience within the box manufacturing arena, specifically with a BHS Corrugator and packaging machines
