The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of a facility's physical components, including buildings, grounds, equipment, and utilities. This position will be responsible for the development, implementation, and enforcement of the facility's maintenance program and quality standards. The Maintenance Manager will also direct and oversee staff members to ensure that all work is completed in a timely and effective manner.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and direct the overall maintenance functions of the facility. Develop and implement maintenance policies, procedures, and standards. Ensure all equipment and machinery is well-maintained and operates properly. Supervise, coordinate, and inspect the work of all maintenance staff. Maintain records of maintenance activities and ensure they are up to date. Ensure that all safety and environmental regulations are followed. Identify areas where improvements can be made and recommend solutions. Manage capital and expense budgets for the facility's maintenance program. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors. Ensure all equipment and machinery is properly stocked with parts and supplies. Qualifications: Minimum 5+ years management experience in related field. Experience with industrial blenders, seals, gaskets, motors, hydraulics, oven systems, operating equipment Minimum 2+ years prior experience in a mechanical or maintenance related job. Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), automotive, welding and machining experience preferred. 5+ years prior experience using power and hand tools preferred. 2+ years prior experience working in a food manufacturing environment preferred Demonstrated knowledge of safety and environmental regulations. Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively manage and motivate staff members. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
