Responsibilities
• Foster a safe work environment and identify/mitigate work hazards• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures• Collaborate with operations leaders to meet customer requirements• Supervise all plant maintenance functions• Enforce predictive and preventive maintenance strategy• Oversee daily work for maximum value creation and equipment up-time• Assess technician performance and provide guidance• Work different shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed• Develop direct reports and promote departmental culture aligned with company principles• Manage labor hours, M&C spend, mill annual outages, and reliability advancement• Implement maintenance and improvement strategies within goals and budgets• Manage workflow processes through CMMS
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial environment• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory/management experience• Experience in improvement efforts in Maintenance, Reliability, Predictive and Preventive Maintenance• Experience using a CMMS system• Ability to read mechanical, structural, and electrical drawings• Experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) or similar problem-solving tools• Experience using MS Office• Bachelor's Degree or higher in an accredited academic program (preferred)• Knowledgeable in areas such as PLC's, conveyor systems, breakers, boilers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems• Experience in welding, machining, industrial design, and equipment rigging
