Position Description Position Title : Maintenance Crew
Reports To: Maintenance Manager
Position Summary : Works under the direction of the Resort Maintenance Manager to ensure overall maintenance and appearance of all resort facilities and grounds for a multi-faceted property with high seasonal, weekend, and holiday demands.
Responsibilities General Staining and painting drywall and texture repairs. Installations such as door knobs, lights and shelving. Repair plumbing clogs and leaks. Maintain and inspect equipment before use, report and repair. Construction and improvement projects. Meet with management to determine parts and supplies needed. Provides feedback on employee performance and relations. Perform related tasks as assigned. Exhibit outstanding attendance and punctuality. Maintaining clean and stocked restrooms, grounds, customer areas. Additional tasks may be assigned to assist other Resort departments and customer service needs. Follow all Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch standards and policies. Familiar with Resort brochures and promotions to inform guests, provide guest communications, customer service and feedback . Familiar with basic operations of other Resort Department to aid in customer request and service. Winter Snow removal using shovels, snow blower, plow truck and other equipment as assigned. Sanding, salting and posting of icy and hazardous areas. Firewood gathering, splitting and stocking. Grounds and holiday lights. Assist with Snow Tube Park grooming and operations. Assist with Pond Skating Preparations. Summer Grounds upkeep such as mowing the lawn, watering lawns, collecting trash and cleaning. Prepare the campground for guests and clean the campground after guests. Trail maintenance and improvements. Requirements Customer service Construction experience Ability to multitask Knowledge of backhoe and farm equipment is a plus, however, not required Prerequisites - Availability to be scheduled on weekends and during observed Holidays & local school breaks. Owns own hand tools and trade tools.
Dress Code: Practical attire for outside mountain conditions that may change throughout the day. All clothing should be clean and free from holes or stains. After the trial period, employees will receive a Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch sweat shirt and up to three t-shirts.
General: Reliable transportation, outdoor enthusiast with winter recreation experience, first-aid and CPR training with-in 30 days of hire, experience of basic power and hand tools.
Physical: Must be able to be mobile for up to eight hours and be able to lift up to 60 pounds. Able to work in alpine winter conditions.
