Responsibilities
• Receive and follow maintenance schedule/ instructions from your supervisor• Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment• Follow all established safety procedures and precautions• Maintain general plant and facility in good repair• Replace burned out light bulbs• Service heating and cooling units/systems• Assure that the facility and its equipment is properly maintained• Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed• Report all unsafe/hazardous conditions• Ensure maintenance supplies have been replenished in work areas
Requirements
• Must possess a valid unrestricted driver's license• Must be able to read, write, speak, and hear the English language clearly• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel• Must be knowledgeable of safe maintenance practices• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, and move intermittently• Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress• Must possess sight and hearing senses, or use prosthetics• Must be able to work beyond normal working hours• Required to be on-call for emergency conditions or situations• Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability
