Maintenance And Engineering Manager

Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is looking to hire a Maintenance and Engineering Manager to oversee the maintenance operations for a start-up food company. This position is open due to growth and demand and the plant doubling in size in the near future. 
This Maintenance and Engineering Manager  will manage personnel as well as cross functional projects and will evaluate plant efficiencies. The company is looking for a dynamic and high potential professional with passions for career advancement and process improvement. This role offers full benefits including medical, dental and 401k.  Maintenance and Engineering Manager Responsibilities: Accelerate the pace of implementation of current and future maintenance and engineering programs 
Identify the current bad actors and optimization of equipment availability 
Support any critical and urgent project/effort 
Improve uptime and lower maintenance cost by maintaining assets optimally in the maintenance cycle 
Assist with the transition to AM (autonomous maintenance) systems 
Assist to reduce maintenance and food safety related incidents and risks 
Assist in implementation and sustainability of MDI for Maintenance program, support with the relevant training 
Process safety compliance and oversight for maintenance including contractors 
Assist with safety incident and fryer fire investigations and drive towards zero 
Support of pro-active safety training, detailed and standardized LOTO procedures 
2nd Shift Maintenance Manager Requirements:  Maintenance management experience required 
Food, pharma, or brewing industry experience strongly preferred 
Must have worked in plant environment
