MACHINIST LATHE OPERATOR Complete Automation, located in Lake Orion, Michigan, in northern Oakland County is a global industry leader in fluid delivery systems. We are looking for a full time, experienced Machinist / Lathe Operator to join our team.
Formed in 1984, Complete Automation provides customers with complete turn-key solutions employing our expert services in design, engineering, fabrication, installation, start-up and training.
The Machinist / Lathe Operator will be responsible for: Perform different types of machining and tooling of equipment according to the procedures in the company's quality system. Receives instructions, prints, and work orders for the job. Plans details of working procedure and tools and material requirements. Fabricates equipment by cutting, Turning, and drilling various metals. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years on the job experience running lathes. CNC Lathe experience required. Haas machine experience a plus. Potential to learn Haas VF4 Mastercam software. ProtoTRAKexperience a plus. Completion of formal apprenticeship program a plus. Must be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy. Able to analyze information gathered in order to identify potential problems or discrepancies. Work involves varying degrees of precision and control to ensure quality parts. Safety awareness - Attention and care required preventing injury to others when performing work.
