Machinist - Lathe Milling Cnc

The Position: We're seeking a skilled machinist with a focus on manual lathe and milling operations, along with CNC machining proficiency preferred. You'll play a vital role in crafting precision components that meet the highest quality standards using a combination of traditional and computer-aided techniques.
Work Schedule: 10-hour work shift, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Responsibilities: Exhibit proficiency in setting up and operating manual lathes, milling machines, and CNC mills. Translate engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications into precisely crafted components. Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure meticulous adherence to quality standards and tight tolerances. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals. Work in a safe manner, upholding American Mechanical's strong commitment to workplace safety. Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet production deadlines. Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience as a machinist, with expertise in manual lathe, milling, and CNC operations. Deep understanding of metalworking techniques and materials. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with absolute accuracy. Experience in utilizing CAD/CAM software for CNC programming and operation. Dedication to precision and a keen eye for detail. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
