Full Job Description The Royal Group (TRG) currently has exciting opportunities available for Folder Gluer Operator on 3rd Shift in Seymour, IN. As a Folder Gluer Operator, you will be responsible for all activities associated with running the machine including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommendation of improvements. 3rd Shift: Sunday - Wednesday (7:30 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.)

TRG requires the following skills and abilities: High school diploma or GED Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer competence and working knowledge of machine. Preferred that employees have prior work experience in the corrugated industry or other 2-4 years' work experience Ability to apply basic calculations; general high school level math and ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy Ability to read and understand manuals, instructions, safety rules, quality standards, etc. Ability to apply proper understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form May be required to maintain a current forklift operator license As an Operator at TRG you will: Setup machine accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques. Minimize waste of sheet stock and glue Regular and predictable attendance Cross train on other machines and switch duties as needed. Monitor quality, including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, correct size and print. Operate the machine to run efficiently and produce quality products Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs; be proactive in the maintenance of equipment. Attend all plant safety meetings. Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed Practice safe work habits at all times. Adhere to production schedule; make recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals. Train and assist others at the machine. Complete all necessary paperwork in an accurate and timely manner Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping Ability to operator slitter to make dunnage for upcoming orders Ability to work overtime as the job requires.
