Job summary
The Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator's main function is to operate the surface mount line equipment in a safe and effective manner.The SMT Operator will perform line equipment setups and preparations.

Responsibilities
• Follow all related work instructions, achieve quality goals and production targets, and follow all safety guidelines and regulation• Perform PCB Load/ Unload, Transfer Conveyors, Screen Printer, SM Machines, Reflow Oven• Component setups and teardown's of Cassette Feeder, Tray Feeders, Vibratory Feeders, Hand Placed Components• Surface Mount Management System Database (SMMS) startup requires operator to login and startup of the SMMS database as well as logging data in the SMMS database• Report to your Team Leader and inform SM Technicians on all problems and issues at all time• Logging all data related to SM problems in the SMMS database.• Knowledge of IPC specifications related to SM assembly. Ensure quality meets or exceeds quality requirement• Perform basic daily cleaning of machine surfaces, scrap bins, and surrounding SM production area (5S)• Meet or exceed production set target
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent.• Surface Mount or computer skills preferred
