We're currently seeking a motivated individual to fill our open 2nd shift Machine Operator position in New Paltz, NY. Position Responsibilities:
Setting up and running high speed manufacturing equipment Monitor and control machines on a daily basis Adjusting machine parts as needed to ensure proper speed, pressure and amount of material for quality production Make sure the work environment remains uncluttered, clean and well-maintained to ensure safety The ideal candidate will either have prior printing machine experience or the ability and passion to learn on the job. Good mechanical abilities with basic math skills Willingness to work on multiple pieces of equipment High school degree, GED, or equivalent working experience Prior experience working with inks and PMS/GCMU colors preferred Experience operating a high-speed printing machine preferred Must have the ability to adhere to policies and standards Must be able to lift 50 lbs Viking Industries has specialized in the manufacturing of corrugated packaging and providing logistical solutions to its clients, for the past 50 years.
