Machine Operators (Belen)Provide machining services for the production and maintenance groupPerforms set up of lathes, mills, grinders, etc for precision machining operations
Responsibilities
• Performs set up of lathes, mills, grinders, etc for precision machining operations• Performs standard maintenance on lathes, mills, and grinders as per schedule• Works from drawings, sketches, and measurements to transfer information to proper machine setups• Utilizing a machine set up from drawings and sketches fabricates parts to specifications• Works with Maintenance Technicians to identify worn machine parts to fabricate new• Assists maintenance technicians in troubleshooting machine malfunctions, providing ideas for improvement• Fabricates components in a precision fashion to support proper machine operation• Maintains workshop in a clean, orderly fashion by 6S principles• Utilizes correct PPE at all times for general and specialized job functions
