Responsibilities
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues promptly.• Assist in the installation and calibration of new manufacturing equipment.• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS.• Adhere to and promote safety protocols and guidelines.• Collaborate with production teams to identify process improvement opportunities.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree/certification is a plus.• Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in manufacturing, preferably plastic manufacturing.• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.• Familiarity with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.• Must have own tools.
