0 POSITION SUMMARY: The Lumper counts, stacks per Ti HI, measures, and verifies contents of shipments against lumping receipts.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Communicate with scheduler and receivers for daily work load.Off load inbound trucks (floor loaded/Pallet stacked) in a timely manner.Breaks down pallets according to Lumper sheets.Ensure Ti Hi is correct.Examines articles for defects and sorts articles according to extent of defect.Manage dock space to ensure efficient work methods.Comply with safety policies and procedures.Wear required personal protective equipment.Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:

Must be conscientious, diplomatic, and detail-oriented. Ability to remain calm in stressful situations (e.g., customer complaints, time pressures). Experience with forklift operation or other power equipment preferred.
Education and / or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with a minimum of three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:
Rider pallet jack certification preferred. Specified shifts may be required to maintain forklift and dock stocker certifications.
Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone to talk and hear.
