Responsibilities
• Provide nursing and supportive care according to plan of care• Treat patients and educate them about medical conditions• Provide emotional support to patients' family members• Document patient information and operate medical equipment• Administer medications and perform foley care, wound care, etc.• Work closely with CNA to provide personal care for patients• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in a rounding environment
Requirements
• Current Arkansas LPN license without restriction• Satisfactory TB skin test• Minimum 2 years nursing experience in a hospital or healthcare facility• Experience in home health, hospice, gerontology, geriatrics, acute care, and care of the terminally ill preferred• Ability to cope with human suffering, emergencies, and stress• Caring, sympathetic, responsible, and detail-oriented• Ability to direct or supervise others and assess patients' conditions• Possess a personal car for transportation• Current driver's license and auto liability insurance• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing• Current CPR certification
