Responsibilities
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary health care teams• Collect comprehensive data on patients' health and analyze it• Assist physicians in treatments and procedures• Ensure physician orders are carried out appropriately• Foster effective and patient throughput• Integrate patient care standards in all clinical activities• Maintain sensitivity and awareness of cultural and religious diversity• Promote a supportive and team-oriented environment• Support departmental responsibilities• Perform other relevant tasks as assigned
Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing• LPN license and registration• BLS certification• Specialty knowledge, skills, and abilities may be required
Key Skills Needed
• Prior experience working in an outpatient or family medicine setting• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining aseptic technique• Strong communicator and advocate for patient safety and AORN standards• HCAHPS/EPIC knowledge preferred• Team oriented and team approach to work task accomplishment and unit functions
