Logistics Support position in Chesapeake, VAWork in the Fleet Sustainment group of HII's Mission Technologies divisionProvide technical support for logistics and supply chain management activities
Job seniority: entry level
Responsibilities
• Manage and control customer inventories• Allocate and redistribute inventory as necessary• Analyze technical data for provisioning requirements• Formulate recommendations for spare parts and support equipment• Work independently and demonstrate knowledge of supply chain management• Track and manage repairable items through the supply chain
Requirements
• High School Diploma and 2 years additional education and/or related experience• Knowledge of logistics, provisioning, maintenance concepts, and government property management• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and supporting Product Life Cycle Management• Excellent communication skills and proven multi-tasking abilities• US Citizenship and Driver's License required
Key Skills Needed
• Forklift Qualified (Preferred)• Experience with material management systems (Preferred)• Experience handling DD1149 & 1348's (Preferred)
