Responsibilities
• Identify and report theft or policy violations by employees• Apprehend or deter individuals committing external theft• Review reports to detect internal/external dishonest activity• Assist with internal investigations and interviews• Maintain strict compliance with the law and company policies• Conduct physical surveillance and monitor CCTV system• Perform job functions independently• Testify in court cases involving the company• Participate in inventory process and shrink reduction plans• Train warehouse associates, perform audits, and communicate findings
Requirements
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills• Intermediate computer skills• Ability to make quick decisions in stressful situations• Aptitude to de-escalate dangerous situations• Ability to work without direct supervision• Minimum 2 years of Loss Prevention experience in a retail environment• High School graduate or equivalent• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays• Some overnight travel may be required• Ability to work at elevated heights and use warehouse equipment• Consistent and reliable attendance required• Must be able to stand/walk for entire shift• Maintain confidentiality and licensing requirements• Able to work in a fragrance filled environment
