Job Description:
As a Logistics Compliance Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of freight pick-ups and deliveries for our customers. You'll work closely with our team to coordinate domestic air and ground shipments, handle document preparation, and ensure customs clearance. Your responsibilities will include:
Publishing daily reports to keep stakeholders informed of potential issues
Tracking freight movements across various transportation segments
Implementing transportation coverage and addressing distressed shipments
Building relationships with transportation partners and vendors
Collaborating with operations and customer service to resolve issues and meet customer expectations
Maintaining our in-house Transportation Management System (TMS)
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in operations within the transportation and logistics industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) preferred
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and find cost-effective solutions
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
High school diploma or equivalent
