Learn more about Ledcor here.Hear more from our Mining team here.Essential Responsibilities:Safe and efficient operation of Cat 777 and Komatsu 785 haul trucks to meet production targetsConduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activitiesMaintain heavy equipment in good operating condition, reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concernsComplete production reporting and other documentation as requiredCommunicate effectively and professionally with other team membersBe a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and proceduresQualifications:Minimum one-year of mining experience is preferredCurrent MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal certification is preferred Must have and maintain a valid driver's licenseMust have and maintain a clean driver's abstractMust be able to arrange own accommodations, various options may be available in surrounding areasWork Conditions:Ability to work overtime may be requiredEmployee benefits package and 401k plan participation offered after 60 days of continuous employmentAdditional Information:Company DescriptionLedcor Mining services reach across the lifespan of a mine, from facility construction, to full-scale contract mining of coal, minerals, or metals, all the way to mine reclamation.
