LMS and Training Administrator

SUMMARY:
As the Training and LMS Administrator your role is responsible for maintaining, assigning and tracking training and educational content in Omega Morgan University for employees based on their position and tenure. This includes new hire training, safety training, job specific training and soft skills training The Administrator also is responsible for posting external training content and uploading training certifications to the Learning Management System (LMS) site.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Internal subject matter expert on LMS system.
Assign and maintain employee learning paths, enrollments training records.
Follow up with managers when required training is not completed timely.
Create ad hoc and pre-scheduled training reports for managers and supervisors.
Train targeted managers to be LMS administrators for their division.
Work closely with Safety for reporting and vetting various training programs.
Partner with back-office managers and the operations teams to ensure new hires receive appropriate training for their roles.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in managing training programs in an LMS; preferably Absorb and in the construction or transportation industry with safety training experience.
Ability to handle competing priorities and work effectively in a small office environment.
Ability to discern training needs from a variety of disparate inputs and communication styles
Ability to think strategically and analytically, as we as be self-directed in daily responsibilities.
Knowledge of e-learning and emerging training technologies is desired.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with all levels of the organization.
Strong attention to detail
