Responsibilities
• Intermediate technical knowledge of various commodities• Thorough understanding of purchasing policies and procedures• Ability to issue bids, evaluate suppliers, and administer service agreements• Negotiation skills to purchase commodities at a favorable price• Understanding of purchasing documents and contract terms• Ability to conduct meetings with suppliers and maintain records• Handle special projects and work in a team environment• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering or related field, or 6 years of job-related experience• CPM or CPSM certification preferred• Experience in refinery purchasing environment preferred
Requirements
