As a Live Chat Associate working remotely for Fluor based in San Diego, California, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service and support to clients through the company's live chat platform. You will have the opportunity to work part-time in this Associate level role, bringing to the table at least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Responsibilities:- Engage with customers in real-time through live chat to address their inquiries, concerns, and provide solutions promptly and professionally- Utilize your negotiation and persuasion skills to upsell products or services to customers when appropriate- Maintain a positive and adaptable attitude when faced with challenging situations, always finding resourceful ways to resolve customer issues- Collaborate with other team members to share best practices, insights, and continuously improve the customer experience- Meet and exceed performance metrics related to response times, customer satisfaction, and sales targets- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, company policies, and industry trends to better assist customers
Requirements:- Demonstrated experience in a customer service or sales role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience- Excellent written communication skills and ability to type quickly and accurately- Adaptable and resourceful personality traits that shine through in your work- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to drive sales and maintain customer satisfaction- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote work environment- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus- High school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred
