Position: Litigation Attorney
Responsibilities of the Litigation Attorney:
Manage a caseload of insurance defense litigation matters, guiding them from inception to resolution. Conduct thorough legal research and provide analysis and recommendations to clients. Prepare a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and more. Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and actively participate in trial and mediation proceedings. Collaborate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal teams to build robust cases. Essential Job Functions of the Litigation Attorney:
Demonstrate a profound understanding of insurance defense litigation strategies. Offer strategic advice and guidance to clients throughout the legal process. Proactively manage caseloads to ensure timely and cost-effective resolution. Stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations impacting insurance defense litigation. Exhibit strong communication and negotiation skills when interacting with opposing counsel and involved parties. Litigation Attorney Skills:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction, with 7-10 years of experience in insurance defense litigation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Why Work Here?
