Classic Party Rentals of Virginia Inc in North Chesterfield, VA is looking for one Linen Support to join our 43-person strong team. We are located on 9313 Burge Ave. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working. Benefits We offer many great benefits, including free early access to your pay through Homebase. Company-wide employee discount Responsibilities · Clean and iron linens (tablecloths, napkins, sashes, and runners) as specified by manufacturer and company policy.
· Process and package linens per company policy.
· Uphold the quality control standards of the company.
· Restock cleaned and Clean packaged linens appropriately.
· Inspect and count in returned linens using an RFID scanner and by hand.
· Sort dirty linens per company policy.
· Notify the supervisor of broken or faulty equipment.
· Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications • Must be able to lift/move approximately 50-70 lbs.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Ability to interpret directions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Attention to detail
• Exceptional time management.
Working Conditions • Daily use of washers, dryers, and flatwork ironers, which release hot air, exposure to above-average temperatures is prevalent
• Most work will be performed in a warehouse setting with limited exposure to outside elements, some work areas may not be heated or air-conditioned.
• May have exposure to chemicals, including but not limited to detergents, bleaches, and other cleaning chemicals
• Repetitive bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items.
