Provides quality case management and psychotherapeutic services to psychiatric patients and their families. Serves as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, supporting the organization's treatment program and philosophy. Assures the deliverance of high-quality treatment to patients and their families.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Conducts psychosocial assessments to document history and identify preliminary issues for treatment by interviewing the patient and their family members.Provides individual, group, and family process and didactic therapies for patients and family members using various professional treatment modalities.Develops and coordinates an individualized discharge plan for patients.Identifies and assesses family and community resources to meet patients' aftercare needs.Attends treatment team meetings to provide social work and case management perspective.Demonstrates conduct in keeping with licensing board and Desert Parkway ethical standards.Complies with facility safety, infection control and security program.Documents treatment provided to patients in their medical record based on established case management guidelines.Completes all reports for suspected abuse as legally mandated and consistently informs supervisor.Completes Release of Information accurately and completely.RequirementsCurrent Nevada State licensure required (Clinical Social Worker-intern, Marriage and Family Therapist-intern or equivalent or higher)Minimum one (1) year clinical work experience in diagnosis, psychotherapy and assessment-based treatment planning preferredPrevious experience working with active duty military, veterans, or first responders preferredMaintains current knowledge of social, medical and psychiatric services available within the communityDisplays good theoretical knowledge of psychopathology and appropriate treatment techniques of each type of therapyExperience with therapeutic limit-setting helpful or an understanding of level systems or other behavior management modalities helpfulAbility to maintain professional boundariesSkills in case management, time management, and crisis intervention common to acute psychotic, serious mental health and non-violent crises intervention practiceSkills in conducting individual, family, and group therapyBenefitsA full benefits package is available the first of the month following just one (1) month of employment!Desert Parkway offers competitive benefits to include:Medical insurance (three plans to choose from)Dental insurance (two plans to choose from)Vision insurance401K Retirement PlanHealthcare spending accountDependent care spending accountPTO Plan with holiday premium payDiscounted cafeteria meal planLife insurance (including plans for spouse and children)Short- and long-term disability (with additional buy-in opportunities)Pet InsuranceIdentity Theft Insurance Benefits of working as a Licensed Clinician Outpatient - Full Time in Las Vegas, NV:
