Job Description Cornerstone Building Brands is adding a Legal Intern to their team this summer. The Legal Intern will work under the supervision of the Assistant General Counsel - Compliance and Assistant General Counsel – Corporate and Securities on the following types of projects: (1) assist the team in conducting legal research on various compliance and corporate matters, (2) review and assist with negotiating corporate agreements and contracts, (3) support the team in drafting company-wide policies and procedures, (4) collaborate with cross-functional teams on various legal matters, and (5) perform additional duties as assigned by the team. This intern position will allow a student to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment while working alongside experienced professionals. This position will work a hybrid scheduled out of our Cary, NC headquarters.
Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS : Candidates must have completed at least one year at an ABA-accredited law school. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed business association contracts Ability to handle communication across different levels within a corporate environment Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle confidential information Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision Additional Information Why work for Cornerstone Building Brands?
