Job Details: Lecturer of Computing Sciences
The Department of Computing Sciences seeks applicants for two open lecturer positions for an August 2024. Responsibilities will include teaching across a range of courses servicing the computer science, information systems, and information technology Bachelor of Science degree programs, as well as teaching service courses for students majoring in other STEM disciplines. Successful candidates for the positions must hold a M.S. or higher degree in computer science, engineering, or a closely related field. In addition, candidates must have relevant teaching experience in the computing, physics, mathematics, or engineering disciplines. Programming teaching experience at the undergraduate level is required. Experience with high performance computing systems, communications systems, or algorithm design is preferred. Coastal Carolina University is a public comprehensive liberal arts institution located in Conway, South Carolina, just nine miles from the Atlantic coastal resort city of Myrtle Beach.
