Responsibilities
• Teach in areas of industrial engineering (IE) and/or manufacturing engineering (MfgE)• Specific topics include data analytics applications, facilities planning, work measurement, simulation, operations research, information engineering, supply chain management, database management, industrial systems, human factors, engineering economy, and project management• Teach topics in MfgE, including industrial automation, machining, welding, foundry, and electronics• Conduct instruction for the ******** academic year• Deliver lectures and prepare course material• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback• Participate in departmental activities and meetings
Requirements
• B.S. in industrial or manufacturing engineering or a related field• Extensive industry experience is encouraged• M.S. or Ph.D. in industrial or manufacturing engineering or a related field is preferred• Ability to pass a background check• Compliance with California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act• Ability to provide official transcripts upon request• Excellent communication and organizational skills• Ability to work effectively with diverse students and colleagues
