The Group Learning function will build the organisation's ability to anticipate future skill requirements as a basis for development of people strategies and provide methods and mechanisms for development of those skills over time and at the point of need.This role will provide project management support to Group Learning Projects.Responsibilities include:Supporting Learning Programmes ImplementationPerformance & DeliverySupport execution of Learning Solution ProjectsPortfolio Office Support to administer:Document Management (Project Teams/SharePoint Sites)Project ChartersStatements of WorkProject and team deliverablesChange plans and collateral3rd Party Supplier access to project collateral and collaboration toolsMaintaining project plans and Risks, Actions, Issues and Dependencies LogsManaging Stakeholder Groups and arranging meetingsAdvice other project managers in Learning solutions on best PM practicesPeople & TeamsParticipate as an effective team member in working collaboratively with leaders, peers and relevant others (including from other teams) to achieve business goals.Contribute to the broader business by working with others in such a way that it optimises the overall business results, rather than just your team's.Supporting Learning CurationAssist in sourcing and recommending relevant learning resources for projects, using internal content intelligence tools.Work with partner content providers to identify materials matching defined topics and narratives.Evaluate resource suitability and relevance using internal tools.Content Review:Assist in periodic reviews of existing learning content, pathways, and plans to assess relevance and quality.Identify and recommend the removal of obsolete content, ensuring learning resources remain current.Work closely with Learning & Development (L&D) teams and partner content providers to address any discrepancies or outdated materials.Review broken links within learning pathways and plans.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify suitable replacements for broken links, ensuring uninterrupted access to learning materials.Access Issue Escalation:Serve as a point of contact for users experiencing technical difficulties in accessing learning content.Escalate access issues to the appropriate internal teams or external partners for resolution.Provide timely updates and support to users impacted by access issues, ensuring minimal disruption to learning activities.Collaboration and Communication:Foster effective collaboration with stakeholders and content providers.Communicate findings and recommendations succinctly to aid decision-making.QualificationsTechnical Knowledge:Operations:Strong project management skills and experience in supporting projects is essential.Experienced in the use of project management & collaboration software (e.g. Smartsheet/MS Project/JIRA/Trello) and MS Office suite.Management:Experience of interfacing with key stakeholders and colleaguesCompliance:Ability to understand Safety, health and environment, legislative, statutory, and regulatory requirements in relation to role.Technical Skills:Operations:Proficient understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational and technical requirements.Strong planning and organising skills.Good understanding of agile methodology and ability to apply an agile mindset to all aspects of work.Stakeholder management.Verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.Problem solving skills.Commercial:Understanding of business and customer drivers that generate value and impact decision making.Management:Data analysis and management for decision-making.Additional informationWho We AreAnglo American is a global diversified mining business.
