Job Summary: Falck USA is establishing a Learning & Development function is excited to identify a Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist to join the team. The L&D Specialist will create, develop, implement, and conduct training and development programs for Falck employees. Initial focus for the L&D Specialist is for Falck's frontline managers and continuing leadership training for this group of employees. 
The L&D Specialist will join the larger People & Culture (P&C) team at Falck USA and liaise with the Global People & Culture team on L&D initiatives. This role is based in Falck USA's headquarters in Orange, CA.
Duties/Responsibilities: · Continue Dare to Care Falck Leadership Program in the US, including serving as the primary instructor and liaison to external support, as needed
· Partners with Falck Global People & Culture's Learning & Development initiatives to implement new global programs in the US
· Additionally, conduct needs assessment to identify knowledge and skills gaps within the US based on discussions with P&C Business Partners and Managing Directors
· Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of skills and leadership training for Falck employees, with emphasis on frontline managers
· Develop engaging and effective learning materials using a variety of formats (instructor-led, eLearning, virtual sessions, and multimedia presentations)
· Facilitate training sessions and workshops, either in-person or virtually, ensuring an engaging and impactful learning experience for participants
· Lead or conduct train-the-trainer sessions, where appropriate, to build a team of instructors available for a given topic or program
· Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials
· Maintains records of L&D activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements
· Evaluate and implement LMS solution across Falck USA to enable more efficient records management, enrollments, and reporting
· Establish metrics and evaluation methods to assess the impact and effectiveness of training programs
· Analyze training data and feedback to make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement on course content and delivery
· Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and address concerns related to L&D initiatives
· Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities: · Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong presentation skills.
· Proven experience in instructional design, adult learning principles, and training facilitation
· Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
· Proficient in using learning management systems and other related software
· Ability to work independently
· Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
· Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
· Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
· Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
· Ability and willingness to travel domestically
Education and Experience: · Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Learning and Development, or a related field required.
· At least five (5) years in adult and/or professional education required.
· SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred but not required
