As Lead UI Artist you will work with the development teams to create the gameplay UI across the different initiatives. You will create well thought out features and systems by generating wireframes, documentation, and prototypes. You will then work with a multi-disciplinary team to ship these features to create a memorable experience for our players.In this role, you willBuild and foster a team of UI designers (2-6)Roll up your sleeves and dive into some IC work when needed, such as producing UI design work like competitive analysis, information architecture, content strategy, user stories, journey mapping, and accessibility standardsWork with Game Designers to translate goals and constraints into compelling user-facing experiencesCollaborate with other UX/UI Craft leads to ensure great communication is happening and stronger cross-team relationships are builtContribute to the new vision for the various UI initiatives that we're working onWork collaboratively across multiple teams within Epic ecosystem to create consistency and resolve design discrepanciesBuild flexible design systems that enhance our ability to design more efficiently and consistentlyWhat we're looking forYou have 7+ years of experience working collaboratively to design features and complex UI systems through to completion across multiple platforms (mobile, web, PC, consoles)You have 7+ years of experience working in Agile environments and on multi-disciplinary teamsYou have 2-4 years of experience managing a team of 2-6 people or equivalent trainingYou have excellent written and verbal communication skills and at least 5+ years of experience presenting to other team members and stakeholdersYou are a service-oriented, empathetic, and compassionate leaderYou are skilled with Figma, the Adobe Suite, and prototyping softwareYou have a strong online portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions with strong visual direction and interaction designYou have a passion for making and playing gamesYou're able to deal with ambiguity well and you adapt to changes of plans quicklyEPIC JOB + EPIC BENEFITS = EPIC LIFEOur intent is to cover all things that are medically necessary and improve the quality of life.
