Lead Senior Employee Relations ConsultantHybrid remote in Raleigh, NC95-98% remote

Responsibilities
• Provide expert level consultation and guidance on disciplinary actions, grievances, performance management, conflict resolution, ADA, unemployment, County policies, and state and federal employment laws• Serve as the escalation point for routine employee relations concerns, review actions and provide feedback and guidance to ER team members• Conduct Title VII related investigations• Analyze ER data and perform compliance risk assessments; and identify/recommend new and creative solutions
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Public Administration, Business Administration or related field• Four years of experience in human resources administration• Five or more years of professional experience in employee relations (preferred)• Relevant professional training and/or certifications such as PHR or SPHR, IPMA-CP or IPMA-SCP, mediation (preferred)• Professional experience working for local or state government (preferred)• Experience serving in a senior or lead role (preferred)
